Wildfire in Kefalonia
A forest fire broke out in a wooded area in the Anniata location on the island of Kefalonia at around 11:15 in the morning. Large firefighting forces were immediately dispatched to the scene to tackle the flames and prevent further spread.

The firefighting operation involves 18 firefighters along with a specialized ground team and five fire vehicles. In addition, two firefighting airplanes and one helicopter were mobilized to assist from the air with water drops.
