A forest fire broke out yesterday evening, around 8:00 PM, in the local community of Frosyni, within the municipality of Souli in Thesprotia. The fire ignited in a forested area, triggering an immediate response from emergency services.
Firefighting Efforts
Twenty firefighters, supported by two specialized hiking teams from the 5th EMODE unit and two fire vehicles, were dispatched to the scene. The municipality of Souli is also assisting the firefighting efforts by providing water tankers to help contain the spread of the fire.
