Screenings across Greek cities
The new documentary film «NAZA», created by Israeli filmmakers Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, has arrived in Greek cinemas. Following its presentation at the Venice Film Festival, official screenings began in Athens and Thessaloniki at the start of October.
The film presents testimonies from former soldiers and intelligence officers, discussing operational realities and military strategies regarding the conflict in Gaza. Alongside its broad European audience reach, the work has sparked intense public debate and diverse reactions.
Potential legal dimensions
Beyond public reception, international law experts are examining whether the testimonies featured in the film could become part of the evidentiary material under review in legal proceedings at the International Court of Justice in The Hague. The documentary is expected to be released online for free by the end of November.
Official responses have strongly contested the film's contents. The Israel Defense Forces rejected the claims, stating that the production contains factual errors and presents reality in a manipulative manner.
